I was inspired to create Sophia’s room using florals and all things Vinatge.  

 

So lets step into a world of whimsy and enchantment as we tour Sophias big girl room.

I was inspired to paint a mural for Sophia that was both floral and vintage, where every detail is designed to ignite her imagination and create a cozy and timeless atmosphere. I Had no plan, I just simply let the paintbrush do the work. 


 

Paint Colors are a mix of blushes, mauves and purples

 




FURNITURE 

To complement the floral theme, I opted for vintage-inspired furniture pieces with intricate carvings and soft creams hues. This set is the aurora collection from Evolur 








ACCENTS

I Added a DIY  vintage mirror and a velvet stool to make her feel like a true princess. I also DIY-ED those lamps (above) out of modeling clay and spray painted them gold (will do a full how-to eventually) 

 






RUG 

Her Rug is completely washable from HAUTELOOM and im obsessed!

 





ACCESSORIES

Delicate light blocking ruffle curtains, and antique picture frames showcasing a painting I painted for her.

 NUTCRACKER ORNAMENTS  I saw a few of these circling the internet and decided to make my own! :)  Here are the steps to make a Nutcracker ornament out of paper based on your instructions: Materials Needed: Printed Nutcracker images on yardstick (you can find printable templates or use the ones below) Scissors Hole punch Elmer's glue Glitter Ribbon (for hanging) Optional: Pencil, ruler, and colored markers (for any additional decorating) Instructions: Step 1: Print Your Nutcracker Find and print a Nutcracker image on cardstock or heavy paper. You can search for printable Nutcracker templates online, or you can draw one yourself.
